A family cèilidh for all ages brought to you by the Edinburgh Local Mòd as part of Seachdain na Gàidhlig 2023! Ceòl, danns', is craic! Our family cèilidh is open to all members of the Gaelic community in Edinburgh. It is an all-age event timed to be suitable for families with younger children.
The venue will be Morningside United Church, 15 Chamberlain Road, Edinburgh, EH10 4DH Come along for dancing and to learn some well-known Gaelic songs. We will also be giving out lots of information and help with applications for the Edinburgh Local Mòd competitions. The cèilidh will feature music from Bùrach, a fantastic folk band made up of former GME pupils from Edinburgh. Comataidh a’ Mhòid | The Mòd Committee
The Edinburgh Local Mòd organising committee are all volunteers, including parents of children attending Bun-sgoil Taobh na Pàirce and members of the wider Gaelic community in Edinburgh.
